Gregg defended her first place finish in the 2013 American Birkebeiner. She also won the women's race in 2011.She was followed by Antonella Confortola Wyatt of Zianodifiemme, Italy, and Rosie Brennan of Park City, Utah.Santiago Ocariz, of Ely, Minn., took first in the classic race with a time of 3 hours, 1 minute and 0.8 seconds. He was followed by Nils Koons, of Sidney, New Zealand, and Eivind Opsahl, of Lillehammer, Norway.Natalja Naryshkina, of Cable, took first in the women's classic division with a time of 3 hours, 26 minutes and 0.6 seconds. She was followed by Gretchen Lindgren of St. Cloud, Minn. And Elaine Nelson, of Duluth, Minn.
